What is this dehydration of food?

Dehydration of food is the process of removing water from food. We make cooked food free of water/moisture, helping to stabillise the food and possibly allowing you to use it at a later date.We dehydrate the food at room temperature in ambient conditions. Dehydration is the appropriate method of food preservation.
We offer you two options to dehydrate food:

What is Vaccum Packing?

There are certain food products like Thepla, Paratha,Roti, Pooranpolis, batatavadas, samosas if dehydrated are difficult to rehydrate. At Heat, we pack them in co-polymer pouches, which do not allow (permeate) moisture and Oxygen in AtmosphericAir to get into the pack. Moreover, all the air from the pack is evacuated so that the product has no spoiling environment inside. This helps to retain products mentioned above stay fresh for almost 8 days to 4 months, if kept below 5o Centigrade and kept away from direct sunlight.

How It Works

Food Packets/Dehydrated Food

  • Pour the contents of the food packet in a vessel.
  • Add the quantity of water as mentioned on the sticker of packet
  • Heat the Contents on gas/ microwave /hot plate / travel cooker / Electric Cooker for 3-4 minutes.

You are all set.

Vaccum Packed Food

In case of Roti | Thepla | Paratha.

  • Take out the contents of the packet & the wet napkin place it in.
  • Take a wet napkin(Semi wet)
  • Microwave | Hot Plate it for 1 minute.
